I have a strong memory of reading a copy of Reader's Digest that had a story about a sick child. It might have been written by the child's mother (or possibly father). I think it was a boy, and he had trouble breathing (he might have had cystic fibrosis?). It was a long story (more than a page or two), and the child died. This would have probably been in the early-mid nineties, but it's possible it was reprinted from an earlier time.
Does anyone else remember this?
Maybe Alex: The Life of a Child. There was a brother named Chris and his sister Alex. The father wrote a book about her life and it was a condensed book feature in the 80's. Or maybe Lee's Story from '98, I think it was '98, definitely '90's. He had CF and his mother wrote his story. Those are the only long CF Reader's Digest stories I remember that you could've read in the 90's.
ReplyDeleteIt was Lee’s Story, thank you!
