This was a cartoon movie in the late 1980s or early 1990s. It must have aired on the Family Channel in Canada, but I think it was Australian originally, or at least set in Australia. The main character was a human girl, and I think she had a sick koala, and she had to earn money to get him medicine? At one point, she's performing and sings a song that goes "And here's a tip/go take a trip..." and then she's interrupted by someone who gives her bad news and she says "Oh no!" and runs off.
